In
February of 1999, at age 48, I was really getting
disgusted with myself because I had gained almost
as much weight as I did when I was pregnant with my
kids. It wasn't because I hadn't tried to lose weight,
but I had been on so many diets all my life, gaining
and losing, that I had become a prime example of the
typical "yo-yo syndrome". It didn't matter how much
I tried to lose, I ended up gaining.
I could diet like crazy, eating a bare minimum, and
still gain weight. My daughter, Niki, had moved to
Oklahoma. When she left Texas, she was wearing a size
13. I didn't get to see her very often after she moved.
The first few times we visited, I did notice she had
lost some weight, but it was when she came home for
Thanksgiving and I hadn't seen her for about three
months that I really saw the difference!!!! She had
literally gone from a size 13 to a size 3 in six months!!!!
I asked her what her secret was, and she told me "AM300".

In six months I went from a size 16 to a size 8 and

I still eat healthy, but I eat what I want, and when
I want to splurge, I don't worry about it now.
Thanksgiving of this year, I ate everything I wanted,
including pecan pie, and still lost 1 lb!!! I never
thought I'd be able to lose weight again, but with

than I have in years, and I know that I can continue
